I have been photographing little C's family since his older brother was an infant. We had to take a photo of them in the same sweater just so you can see how much they look alike.

I admit it, I love photographing in our new studio! This little guy came in for his first birthday - big sister and brother both had their own one-year session, so Mom and Dad wanted to make sure this one was just for him. So sweet!

favorite image

Every now and then I'll take a wedding image and know immediately afterward that it was special. It's hard to describe the feeling - it's something instinctual that I have learned to recognize over the years (and I so love it when it happens).

This was one of those times.

Taken at the Greenville Country Club on March 14th of this year.

I think the original purpose of this photo shoot was to capture his mom's pregnancy, but little Nate here stole the show. He took me on a guided tour all around the house and graced my face with lots of stickers. Of course, upon leaving, I promptly forgot about my stickerized head. It wasn't until after I ordered lunch for my staff at a local restaurant that I realized why everyone was looking at me so strangely...

While I was visiting, I learned that Nate's dad is a super talented furniture designer. I love his work, especially the children's furniture. You can check it out here!
