When Kimberly first called me about her wedding, I sensed that she was very special. She possesses a gentle demenor, and in a kind voice she hopefully asked if I was available for a small, intimate home wedding in the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend. After meeting her and Michael for their
engagement session in New York City last fall, I felt so privileged to be a part of the wedding day for these two very special people.
The wedding was held in Wainscott, NY on a beautiful clear day with a light shore breeze. Design and decor were expertly executed by
Colin Cowie. This marked the first time I met Colin, and I found him as charming, fun, and witty in person as he is on television. A big special thanks goes out to Becca here from the studio and
Kathi Littwin, both of whom helped me get lovely photographs in multiple places all at the same time.
I'm going to be posting this wedding in two parts, one today of which tells the story of the day and one tomorrow which will focus on all of the amazing details!
